Chicken update

Our chickens are doing well.  Today the wyandotte layed its first egg.  It had no shell!  The only chicken that's not laying eggs is our buff orpington.  Our chickens are so much bigger.  Their eggs taste good.  They have super dark yolks.

This is our Rhode Island Red.  It is laying an egg. It lays big light brown eggs.

This is our buff orpington.  I think it is trying hard to lay an egg.

This is our wyandotte.  They lay white or brown eggs.

This is our Ameracana.  It is often called the easter egg layer because it lays green or sometimes blue eggs.
         I like our chickens.

  1. Hi Jacob,
Your Wyandotte layed an egg with no shell because it did not have enough calcium. To prevent this try giving them cracked oyster shells. Today I have sold 4 of my buff Orpintons so now I only have 45.
