Earthquake in Japan

photo by Airman 1st Class Katrina R. Menchaca
There was a 9.0 earthquake in Japan.  Did you know it is the 5th largest earthquake?  After the earthquake there was a tsunami.   Do you know what that is?  It is like an earthquake in the water.  The bad thing about it is that all the boats almost sunk.  And it did so much damage that all the electricity is off.  Did you know all this happened?

  1. Hi Jakob - I live in NZ and I have shown my kids this website to show how many earthquakes we have had. Luckily where I live we have a few aftershocks but only mild.
