The Dragon at Camelot

     We watch a new TV show called Merlin.  There are lots of things I like about it.  One thing I like about it is the characters.  Merlin, Arthur and Morgana are the main characters.  Merlin is Arthur's servant.  Arthur is king Uther's son, so later he becomes king.   Merlin is the magic character.   Merlin likes Arthur.  Morgana is also magic but nobody knows that.  Merlin and Morgana hide their secrets because magic is not allowed in the castle Camelot.  Morgana is evil.  At first she is in Camelot.  Even though she is bad, nobody knows that she is evil until she takes the crown and becomes queen! 

      After his father dies, Arthur is king.  By this time, Morgana was defeated and had to flee Camelot.  Merlin knew all along that Morgana was evil.  That is why he poisoned her, and she almost died, but her sister Morgose took her and healed her.

     A second thing I like about Merlin is the creatures.  There are very good and bad creatures, too.   There are dragons, manticores, and trolls.  The dragon is very good because he likes Merlin.  The reason he likes Merlin is because he is a dragonlord, a magical person that can control dragons.  Merlin calls the dragon at night when nobody is looking.  He only does that when something terrible is happening.  He does not know he is a dragonlord until the end of season two. 

     A third thing I like about Merlin is the cool places!   Some different places are:  the forest, Camelot, crystal caves and isle of the blessed.  The forest is part of Camelot, and the crystal cave is where Merlin and other powerful wizards go.  They go there to see what will happen later on.

     There are many things that I like about Merlin, but most of all I like the characters, the creatures, and the cool settings.   You should definitely watch this show.
